OUR STORY
Martys Hair Care was created in 1957 by Sheila "Marty" Martiensen - as a hairdressing salon largely dedicated to servicing the older person in the suburb of Payneham in South Australia. In 1975 Marty was approached by a large nearby Residential Facility to provide services within their premises and we have never looked back. Today Martys Hair Care is owned and operated by Martys granddaughter, Susan Chessman, having continued to operate through her son Peter for over 30 years.
We have a very proud tradition of servicing the older members of our community and now have over 20 sites and 26 staff. We are currently expanding our business to cater to other states including Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. We look forward to providing hairdressing excellence for many more years to come.
